Selection of recorded songs during 2019~2022. This album is a collection of jumbled narrative of love/sex, nostalgic obsession, limerence, and self-criticism towards my inability to move-on from the past.

Deerhoffen was a solo project that I started around 2013 after my band Dramatic Illusions was disbanded in 2011. Deerhoffen was the name my former friend coined me after coming home from the trip to Denmark in 2013. Deer + Hoffen (to hope) = hoping to live like a deer.

It doesn't really make sense if I think of it, since I am not in tune with nature nor go outside often and live more like a capitalist robot than a deer. But the name stuck.

This is my final album to my solo project. I will no longer make songs under the name Deerhoffen.

I dedicate this album to the past. To A/Q and SH for the good time and the awfully shit (traumatizing) times. Thank you for teaching me a good lesson about life, love, and myself.
